Project Party — bringing neighbors together to get projects done, illustrated with neighbors painting, building, gardening, and helping one another.

Community powered · nationwide · always free

Projects get easier when neighbors show up.

Post what needs doing, find people nearby who want to lend a hand, choose your crew, and get the project across the finish line together.

01
Local by design

Search by town, ZIP, or distance. The site is built around projects happening near you.

02
Host-controlled crews

Offering to help is an application, not an automatic invitation onto someone's property.

03
Reputation after real projects

Attendance and two-way feedback build a useful history without turning help into a points system.

How it works

Simple enough to use on Friday night.

The host stays in control, and the exact location stays private until a helper is accepted.

Step 1

Post the project

Describe the work, date, crew size, physical demands, tools, parking, pets, and anything helpers should know.

Step 2

It gets reviewed

A moderator checks the project before it goes public. Unsafe or contractor-level work does not get posted.

Step 3

Build your crew

Neighbors offer to help. The host reviews their history and chooses who to accept, waitlist, or decline.

Step 4

Get it done

Afterward, attendance and short two-way feedback help the community know who follows through.

Project Party is expanding nationwide. The core project workflow is live, but this is still an early community experiment. Expect improvements as people actually use it.

Why Project Party exists

This is not a marketplace

Nobody here is for hire.

No hourly rates, no time credits, and no ledger of who owes whom. Help when you're able. When your own project comes around, post it and give the community a chance to show up for you.
